The Arizona Commerce Authority announced today that Procter & Gamble (P&G), a global consumer goods leader with a diverse portfolio of trusted, quality brands, plans to build a new manufacturing facility in Coolidge, Arizona. The facility will support P&G’s fabric care portfolio, which includes products such as Tide PODS®, Downy Unstopables® and Bounce® Dryer Sheets. The new facility is expected to be operational by 2025, creating approximately 500 new jobs.

Kohler Co., a global leader in kitchen and bath products, is proceeding with constructing a greenfield plumbing ware manufacturing facility, ancillary warehouse, and office space on 216 acres in Casa Grande. The multi-million capital investment comprises a total of approximately 1 million square feet, with room onsite for future expansion, and will bring more than 400 new full-time jobs to the local market.

Taiwanese chemical producer Chang Chun Group recently purchased 84 acres in Casa Grande for $5.2M, where it plans to build a factory. Many of CCG’s products are used in the semiconductor manufacturing process.
